Love was born on February 21st 1979 to Danny and Pat Hewitt in Texas. Her and her father have had very little communication since he left the family when Love was young. Her hair and eyes are brown. Love is only 5'2" and weighs 117lbs. She has one brother named Todd. He's eight years older then her and is a chiropractor.

How She Got Her Name
Jennifer Love Hewitt's mother had a college roommate (and best-friend) named Love. Pat thought Love was so beautiful. She had beautiful long blonde hair, and she was tall with an hourglass figure. So Pat told her roommate that when she had a daughter she would name the girl after her, hence the middle name Love. However, Love's older brother didn't like the name. He thought that when she got older she would be teased to death. So when asked what name he thought she should have, he turned to his crush at the time who lived down the street- Jennifer.
And through all of this Jennifer Love Hewitt got her name.
